It’s day who-knows-what of quarantine over here and I’ve yet to watch a SINGLE Disney movie! I’ve realized I’ve been missing out on a great opportunity here. What opportunity you might ask? Well to watch a Disney movie every single day of course! That’s why I decided to create this challenge to watc
It’s been a while since I’ve given you guys an update so I thought now would be a good time to hop on the blog to let you know how things are going in Florida!
After we celebrated Christmas in North Carolina, Alex and I took a plane over to Utah for my first ski trip! It was definitely the coldest weather I’ve ever been in, but it was so much fun. We stayed in Park City for easy access to the best skiing and gorgeous views. It looked like we stepped inside
Last month, Disney was having a deal on tickets, so my parents gave me an early birthday present and we took a spontaneous Magic Kingdom trip! Alex and I packed up our bags (and Bucky!) into the car and drove down to Orlando Friday night.
This past weekend (June 2nd to be exact!) was me and Alex’s one-year anniversary! How crazy is that? Everyone always says how fast the time flies so I don’t want to be cliché here… but I honestly can’t believe how quickly our first year of marriage went by! It has been an incredible first year.
When people hear the word mundane, they usually think of something that’s boring, repetitive, or mindless. (Washing dishes, cleaning the house, doing taxes…ew.) This can be true, but I like to think the mundane moments become a little more special when you have someone to share them with.
This post is something I’ve been wanting to share for a while, but it’s so personal and scary to talk about that I just kept putting it off. Well, it’s been long enough. I’ve realized that opening up about personal struggles is one of the best ways to help those around you that may be suffering too.
So this year was our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple! Ah! It’s so crazy to think that we both have a valentine for a lifetime! How sweet is that? I must say I was very impressed with Alex this year.
This post is waaaay overdue but it’s still before Christmas so that’s a win right? Alex and I knew this Thanksgiving would be a little different since it was our first year being married. We decided to do something a little less traditional this year and both of our families met in Orlando
A year ago today, I said “yes” to the love of my life after a picture-perfect beach proposal on Honeymoon Island. It was a moment I will never forget, and I don’t think I will ever get sick of retelling the story.
We started off the day at Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival and ate our way around the world. There were SO many choices it was hard to pick what we wanted to try but everything was delicious!
So this year Alex decided to surprise me with what we were doing for my birthday. I told him I wanted to go to brunch that morning so he took me to a place downtown called Funky Brunch Café (gluten free pancakes anyone?).
