Alex and I have been looking for some fun Christmas date ideas to do around the holidays. When I heard about a Botanical Gardens Christmas lights display nearby, I thought it would be the perfect date idea! We actually tried to go earlier, but we had the wrong address. Even though it was freezing we ended up getting ice cream instead. It’s never too cold for ice cream.

When we did finally get to the Botanical Gardens, we really enjoyed it! It was a bit smaller than what we were expecting, but there were plenty of neat displays to see. My favorite was the field of reindeer. We’re also pretty sure Harry Potter was nearby because we definitely saw what looked exactly like his Patronus spell….

I’m not sure if we’ll make going to see the Botanical Gardens Christmas lights a tradition because it was a little out of the way. Either way, it was a fun and festive way to spend the night! There’s something so romantic about bundling up to look at twinkling lights with your love! Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season, Merry Christmas!
